Overview

This couple wanted to update their ensuite and transform this fairly bland room into something special.

They also wanted to look into the possibility of having a low profile shower tray, as their existing shower tray was set so high that there was a step up into the shower.

This is quite common in recently built properties, it’s a cheaper, quicker way to install a shower. However, it doesn’t look great and can be a hindrance for those with mobility problems.

Once we removed the shower cubicle we found that it was possible to lower the waste and install a modern tray which is now almost level with the floor.

We also installed an Aquadart bi-fold door and a rainfall shower along with anthracite gloss combination units with one piece top.

The glossy quartz floor tiles add a touch of luxury and sparkle while the split face wall tiles sit perfectly against the soft grey walls.

See before, during and after photos showing the complete process.
