Overview

This elderly gentleman who is now in a wheelchair, found himself in need of a level access bathroom.

Having a large double garage he chose to use the space to create a new wetroom which he would be able to access without any obstruction.

Working alongside a builder and joiner who built the new room, we installed this fit for purpose wetroom.

Looking to provide the most practical space possible, we installed waterproof panels which are very easy to keep clean and give the room a light and bright feel.

We used an Impey Level-Dec wetroom former along with Altro safety flooring to create a level access, hardwearing and anti-slip surface.

The fixtures were all chosen specifically to meet the requirements of our client, including an AKW iCare shower with remote control, Clos-o-mat toilet with integrated washing & drying, wall hung basin with semi pedestal and various size grab rails and drop down rail – positioned in accordance with the Occupational Therapist’s assessment.

This wetroom has given John complete independency and has future proofed his home for years to come.

See before, during and after photos showing the complete process.
