Overview

This family of four were all using the ensuite in the master bedroom due to the main bathroom not having a shower, so the criteria was to make the main bathroom more functional and appealing to the teenage daughters.

They wanted a look which was sensitive to the age of the property whilst combining a modern, designer suite.

We looked at various layouts to try to squeeze in a separate shower, however there wasn’t enough space so we recommended an oversized luxury Duravit bath with integrated bath panel and a shower over.

Sticking with the Duravit brand we also installed the matching wall hung vanity, basin and toilet along with an anthracite radiator and wall mounted bath tap to add to the modern look.

We installed a ceiling mounted bluetooth speaker and an illuminated mirrored cabinet to keep the teenagers happy, as well as under floor heating, extractor fan and new lighting to please the parents.

The Villeroy & Boch floor tiles in Graphite create a contrast against the traditional white bevelled edge metro tile and white walls. Preserving the oak door and architrave around the window acknowledges the age of the property and balances out the white to provide a crisp, clean, modern look.

See before, during and after photos showing the complete process.
