Overview

When we met with Ian & Maria they had quite a few specific requirements. They were looking at future proofing their bathroom, creating something that will be easily accessible for them in years to come whilst keeping it modern and stylish.

We discussed how to make the best use of space and they agreed that replacing the bath with a full length shower tray would be the most practical solution. We created a Pinterest board for them so that we could share ideas and images and once we had a really good understanding of the look they wanted to create, we started to source the tiles and fixtures.

We provided samples of the tiles and fixtures and once we had found exactly what they were looking for we arranged a date for the installation. We combined the full length shower tray with a 2m high wet room screen, matt black tapware, wall hung basin and wall hung toilet with concealed cistern giving them something functional and yet contemporary as well as maximising space.

The installation took 8 working days to complete which included removing the existing bathroom suite and tiles, altering pipework, installing a shower pump/electrical work, re-boarding and waterproofing, plastering, decorating, tiling and installing the suite.

This well thought out shower room has a stylish look whilst remaining functional and a practical choice for their future. See before, during and after photos showing the complete process.
