Overview

This young couple in Birstall, West Yorkshire wanted to use some of the space in their living room to create a utility/cloakroom.

After working out the dimensions of the new room we provided 3d drawings to demonstrate how it would look.

We constructed the new room according to the plans, creating an entrance from the hallway and then first fixed the plumbing and electrics then boarded, plastered and decorated.

We then fitted the modern grey wall and floor tiles, installed a custom built unit to house the washing machine, dryer and the cistern for the toilet as well as fitting spotlights, extractor fan and a heated towel rail.

To ensure good access to the washer and dryer and enough room to manoeuvre washing baskets, we fitted a slimline cloakroom vanity & basin.

See before, during and after photos showing the complete process.
